Why?
MiniSquatch aims to be one part journal, one part commonplace book, one part photo album, one part official record, one part ephemera. That’s five parts. We have no idea why we need five parts. Or if we’ll need five parts. Or if we’ll need more than five parts. We don’t even know what the whole will be, so really we’re just guessing at all of this.
Let’s try try that again.
MiniSquatch is a bit of rambling by expectant first-time parents about the upcoming birth of our inaugural spawn. We do this primarily for the benefit of a large contingent of our family and friends who are, geographically-speaking, a fair distance removed from the rapidly dividing cells doing their dividing just south of Erin’s navel. MiniSquatch will be what it needs to be. And it will, we hope, stick around on some disk space somewhere long enough that it might prove embarrassing for the wee one once s/he she is no longer quite so wee and well fed up with having embarrassing parents.
