Pregnancy Realization #1

While SLAVING over the stove working on a little something for Christmas that I won’t mention in detail here, I noticed that my tiny baby bump was getting very warm…it sticks out just enough to be closer to the burner and hot pan than one would normally want their stomach–pregnant or not. I realized that in the not very distant future, certain cooking tasks that require a large stockpot and careful watch over the pot’s contents might be impossible, difficult, or even slightly dangerous for me. My pregnancy timing is really perfect for Christmas. I am starting to show, which is exciting, I feel pretty awesome most of the time (see Post #1 for exceptions!), I have lots of energy and I can still fit at the stove!
